Yellow Sapphire "Halo" Sterling Silver Necklace

This lovely necklace features a natural yellow faceted sapphire. This opaque stone is set in a handmade sterling silver prong and halo setting. Sapphire is the birthstone for September.

Sapphires are precious gemstones that belong to the corundum mineral family and they naturally occur in a rainbow of colors, such as blue, pink, yellow, green, purple, and even colorless (referred to as white sapphires). They are also one of the hardest gemstones, ranking 9 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness which makes them highly durable.

The pendant height is 3/4" and the width is 5/8" and it comes on a 16" sterling silver necklace.
