Why is this piece called The Sydney, you ask?

Years ago while dealing with burnout in my real estate finance career, an opportunity to travel with a friend to Australia and New Zealand presented itself. It was a crazy idea that I really didn't have the money for but it was ultimately one of the best things I've ever done. And while I was in Sydney near the Opera House, I came across a metalsmith selling jewelry. She had a circular statement abalone pendant which I bought and still have and treasure. My version is an homage to that original Australian pendant as well as that trip. This handcrafted pendant features a large and beautiful abalone shell doublet set in texturized sterling silver.

The pendant diameter is 1.25" and the pendant and comes with your choice of a sterling silver chain necklace or an Omega necklace. The chain necklace is available in two sizes (16" or 20") and the Omega necklace is 16" with an attached 2" extender. The 16" chain necklace and Omega necklace are shown on the model.
