Keumboo Slope Earrings

These handcrafted Keumboo Slope Earrings feature a slope of 24k gold against a gray-patinaed sterling silver oval setting. 

Keumboo is an ancient Korean gilding technique that is used to apply thin sheets of gold to silver. This pendant features 24k gold that has been bonded to a sterling silver base through heat and pressure. Care should be taken to not polish the surface of the keumboo gold as this will slowly rub the away the 24k gold layer exposing more of the silver underneath.

The earrings drop 1 5/8" from the ear and are .5" in width and have kidney earwires that latch closed.
